There's something about them that makes me think they'd be good together

As friends or whatever they wanted to be I guess

I'm sure it'd take sometime though. But that's what makes a friendship stronger, working hard on it.

They'd definitely be good friends in the end. They had so much in common, mostly after Cordy lost all her money and Faith stopped being so psycho

I agree with Rachel, though, for Joss talking about having a strong feminist POV, he didn't try to show that in his female friendships!

It's weird. the only woman characters he loved were Willow and Buffy. Everyone else was basically sent downhill.

He probably liked Faith a little more than the rest as well He wanted to make a Faith: The Series, I've never heard about him wanting to make a Cordy: The Series.

Which could have worked as well - maybe he was so caught up in the super-human element of his characters, he didn't appreciate that I'd have watched anything with Cordy in even if she couldn't kill people with her bare hands

I remember hearing about that... but I never got why he didn't bring Faith into the last season of Angel or even during the show if he liked her character.

Cordelia was remarkable because she couldn't kill with her bare hands, and yet she kept fighting, I mean come on -- she was willing to use a Spatchula to kill those vampires who were attacking her and Buffy.

I don't think Eliza wanted to come on board as a regular, if I remember right. She wanted to do other things - like Tru Calling, which was good but not that good - and I can't say I blame her. It would have made me more excited to have her back on Angel's last season if Cordy had still been there though.

A spatchula or a phone but the spatchula was better for whacking! Oh, Cordy, you are pure brilliance

I LOVE Tru Calling. but that didn't come on the air until season 5 I think... so that I understand, but why didn't she become a regular in season 2 or even season 4.

I don't think she wanted too From what I can remember of that time, Joss really wanted to have Faith as at least a semi-regular but Eliza was doing movies and things. Adding Faith into Angel would have been the best bet, it would have been too weird to have her full time in Buffy's world after she betrayed them.

Ok, I'm not that great at Manips, and have no idea why I wanted to make this, but I did. So anyway, here's Faith and Cordelia, or Eliza/Charisma
