Basically, I would have liked to have just seen the Cordy show for 7 seasons

Sometimes I still can't believe that they killed her off

I think if Faith had been in s3/4 of Angel, she would have worked harder to find a cure/save Cordy before she died. Angel loved her but he didn't do that much for her - Faith's search for redemption, if nothing else she would have done it because they would have been amazing friends. After getting over the elbow to the face incident

Definitely. It was sad to see Willow so cut up over it but I don't think she really had any right to be, seeing as she cheated on Oz and betrayed Cordy with Xander - Cordelia's reaction would have been so much better. Maybe she would have taken revenge

Not to mention Willow was still dating Oz at the time.

I wish there'd been more screen time between Faith and Cordy. They were such opposites that it would have made for a great story. Faith was physically strong and had such a tough chick persona but she was so broken on the inside. People looked at Cordy and saw a pampered, spoiled princess but she had so much inner strength. Neither was what they appeared to be and they were both lonely. It would have made for an interesting friendship.

Exactly. I think that opposites definitely would have attracted here. Plus, the attractiveness of the two girls together would have been through the roof. Faith needed somebody to understand how it felt to be on the outside of the Scooby Gang and Cordy knew that - they could have supported each other and bitched about the Scoobies when they weren't listening

Neither seemed to have much family or at least not any that they were close to. They would have been great as surrogate sisters.

Oh, definitely. I can see them really bonding - they've both been people in the past that they regret, the way they've treated people, I can see all the potential now

A friendship between Faith and Cordy would have added some conflict to the group too because of the history between Faith and Wes and Cordy's close friendship with Wes. They could have done a whole storyline about divided loyalties and working together as a team. It would have been an interesting way to do a non-romantic triangle.

Willow's reaction meant nothing. Cordy was the one who had been dating him. Willow was a whiny wonder wimp who felt she had a claim on him

I totally forgot about this thread.

If Faith had decided to stay in L.A. and work with the fang gang I think it's only a matter of time before Cordy would have wanted to give her a makeover. How do you think Faith would have reacted?

She would have hated it, definitely, but you could see Cordy thinking along the lines of never wanting to be seen in public with somebody who wore that much leather and tops that small

Faith's relaxed approach in s4 Angel would have been much more appropriate for Cordy - if she hadn't been consumed by the awful SL of Jasmine I think we could have got a great SL out of them.

Cordy had changed so much by s4, with the training, I don't think she would have minded Faith in the hotel the way she was supposed to mind her in Angel's apartment s1

ITA and she had a pretty good reason for not wanting her there or at least wanting to be there with her s1 but by s4 (sans jasmine/evil cordy arc which was

) she had changed enough that she would have wanted to help her, i am not so sure about the makeover thing though cause she never tried it with fred but i can see her suggesting color or picking at faith about how she dressed esp after they become friends.
when it came right down to it yeah cordy loved the rest of the fang gang but angel was her first priority so he always came before anyone else

I always assumed Cordy was the one that bought Fred clothes after they brought her back from Pylea. Fred wouldn't leave her room in an empty hotel so I don't see her shopping at the mall. Cordy could have done the same thing for Faith after Faith broke out of prison if she had to lie low. I could see Cordy buying her something pink just to irk her

Faith seemed to secretly like the sundress the Mayor bought her. I bet she secrectly wants to dress all girly but doesn't want to ruin her rep, and Cordy will porbably notice that

She probably would have softened up in L.A. because she could have been her own person instead of being in Buffy's shadow.
