It did. He didn't want to offend anyone after he killed off Tara (some felt that was a message that being in a lesbian relationship was wrong, but he would have killed off Oz had he been in a relationship with Willow at the time).

He just wanted the catalyst to turn Willow evil I loved that he kept Tara around longer than he had to just because he loved her - sometimes Joss wasn't all bad

I never call Joss bad. Sometimes I didn't like the decisions he made, but we would have never gotten our beloved characters if not for him, you know?

That's why it's so hard for me to be really angry at him because he gave us Cordy in the first place! I wish he'd had a bit more respect for the fans towards the end, though. He didn't have to kill off nearly everything I loved about Angel!

I didn't actually watch Angel till Spike came on, so I'm probably one of the few Cangel fans who loved season five.

I wanted to see what I had missed. And then I ended up loving Cangel.

Oh I so agree with you there. He gave us Cordy which I love him for... But I wish he gave her more of a respectable ending... well You're Welcome was absolutley beautiful and I'm thankful for that, but season 4 could've been played out differently for Cordelia.

Season 4 is definitely the season that shouldn't be named if you're a Cordy fan

I've always been a Cangel fan so Spuffy was complete love for me! Finally a relationship that seemed tortured and true, I was addicted right away

Jealous Buffy at the wedding was I when that scene was first shown - I knew then that I was a proper shipper when I was glad they were just on-screen together
