I liked C/D a lot but he was never my first choice for her, I would have settled for that pairing but I would have never been totally satisfied because even way back when the pilot was first airing I was already a cangel and as much as I liked Doyle/Cordy they could never replace my otp

Another reason why Doyle is special though, even though you were shipping Cangel you loved him enough to be fine if Cangel never were and only Doyle and Cordy were.

I had been shipping C/A too long to just think oh doyle is a great guy, c/d are cute screw cangel i love dordy now

Actually, beginning watching Angel, I thought that we're gonna have some love trial or smth. I thought that both Angel and Doyle will be good for Cordy, but in the end, I thought, she's gonna choose Doyle

Not because Angel is bad, no, but because Doyle had such a great and pure love for her, and Angel is ment to be with someone else, I think (not Buffy, cause she is ment to be Spike's, but maybe Darla or Kate...)

because I think we may have been watching different shows

sorry I don't beleive in the oo i have known you all of 5 minutes but I am in love thing. While I would have been ok with d/c the truth of the matter is I honestly really just ship them more for their friendship more than anything else. they accepted each other for who they were, doyle was deffinately attracted to cordy and she was starting to open herself up to dating a "fixer-upper" again (of course the huge difference between Doyle and Xander is that unlike Xander, Doyle actually liked and respected Cordy. Xander proved more than once that he did not only dislike Cordy as a person, but that he had little respect for her and actually would have dumped her in a heartbeat if Buffy would have ever gave any indication that she was interested than more than freinsdhip with him.) Doyle would have never treated her the way Xander did

oops got off track there but what I am saying is while the attraction was there and the beginning of a great freindhip i am not sure that they were each others lobster (as phoebe from freinds would put it) After bachelor Party I had the feeling that while he was trying to move on and really did have some feelings for Cordy, a part of him was still in love with Harry

and i honestly don't see the kate/angel thing, i think she had a huge crush on him for awhile and sure he found her attractive but there was really nothing there

Well, that's probably the main thing we like about shipping - we can guess and we're all guessing differently

I watched all the Angel series, though still think those 9 episodes with Doyle where the best... Angel/Kate... I'm sceptical about them too, I much more see Angel with Darla.

Totally agree on Xander!

Imho, the whole plot-line in Angel went close to the end really downhill and ridiculouse... Connor/Cordy... and Weaseley talking to a hamburger... that's why there never where any long-time relationships, I guess...

But I'll always love D/C - I guess that's simply all that's left for Doyle's fans, so I just can't let it go... I think they where wonderfull and to me - the best

The funniest thing about me watching all the series is that in Russia Angel's raitings fell so badly after Doyle's leaving and then after Lindsey leaving, that the show's time was changed to 5 am! And I used to get up at that time, because I couldn't miss an episode with Connor or Spike

Though, without Doyle it still never was the same for me...

Completely with you there! I think he always thought that he sees some signs of that "indication" and that's why he even couldn't have a normal relationships with Anya, though they could have made just an amazing couple. When in season 7 Xander was driving Dawn for school, and she was on the back seat, and Buffy was sitting right next to Xander in the car, and they all looked like a mommy/daddy/sweet daughter, that's where I really wanted to hit Xander or smth

Hate the idea of Buffy/Xander
