I don't think she ever looked trashy. I do love the scene when they break into the military base, especially Xander's little bit with the soldier.

Cordy in high school sometimes reminds me of Cher from Clueless so I always assumed she had the same attitude.

In the world where I write my fanfics, Cordy and Xander DID have sex.

In Graduation part 2, when they blew off their final classes, they went into the closet to make out again, (She liked him again, thanks to him not telling about her family troubles, AND buying her prom dress.) In the closet, they were just going to fool around, but things happened. They both figured they would probably not survive the day, so they did it.

I don't know about Cordy, but Xander was NOT a virgin. Don't forget, he was raped by Faith in the Zeppo

I never picked up on that. I just assumed that since she and Xander dated for a year and didn't sleep together that she'd never slept with anyone.

aw, I love these two! they were actually one of my very favorite couples on Buffy, tied for first actually. and I hate alot of couples. something about them, it's just so cute how they hated and insulted each other, but they actually really cared for one another and loved each other. their scenes were always so cute, and never failed to amuse me.

I tend to hate most TV couples too because I don't buy those relationships where they're meant to be together. Cordy and Xander were believable to me because they weren't sugary sweet or melodramatic. They were realistic and like a lot of young couples.
