I did hear that NB and CC were friends on set.

I think NB tends to bring out the best in his female co-leads: CC, SMG, EC, etc. He's the kind of actor that can play off his female co-leads well.

I was sad that Xander as a character was so marginalized from S5 on, especially in favor of Spike. I do like Spike, but I really didn't like how a lot of Xander's screentime and lines and character development was marginalized in favour of Spike.

Cordy/Xander were a good high school couple- it would've been nice to see a crossover ep where Cordy visits Sunnydale and they can banter as adults but in a friendly way with no hard feelings. I like to think that they parted as friends.

hmmm... honestly I liked all of the main Btvs characters more so as the seasons went on, because they grew as people more. and Xander I just loved him with Anya soooo much!

don't get me wrong I love Xander with Cordelia too... they were one of the reasons I enjoyed the early seasons at the time.

Their banter yet love and respect for one another.

I loved them cuz they had alot of sexual tension between them, and they fought like they were married. And Queen C meets Geeky X = Interesting.

I think that it was definitely an interesting dynamic with the most popular girl in school with a boy she wouldn't have let clean her shoes previous to Buffy

I love Suliet to the core.... and Juliet has become one of my favorite characters since this season.

I'm thinking the reason he did the whole Cander idea was because Xander needed a girlfriend and sense Cordelia was becoming more known.

or maybe because NB and CC were good friends off set so they decided to add that to the show.

That's probably it

It's just weird that he decided to pair the popular girl with the geeky boy

But then if he wanted to have a reason for Cordy to be around the Scoobie gang more, I guess she'd have to be dating one of them. At least it wasn't Willow

A lot of people seem to like the idea of Willow and Cordelia. But I don't think I could have got past how much they disliked each other in the beginning.
