Hey everyone!

C/X in the early days was one of my favorite couples in the early seasons of BtVS (even though I eventually shipped C/A). Can I be added to the list?

I especially like them in late S2 and early S3 when Cordy and Xander were more comfortable with each other as a couple (after Valentines' Day) and Cordy was more integrated into the Scoobies

I like to think that Cordy and Xander parted as friends.

That was my favourite time for them as well, when they'd both gotten over their issues concerning being in a relationship with each other

And I think they did end up as friends, if not close friends then Cordy at least let the hurt go and viewed him as more than just an annoyance after the prom

But I liked it way more when they decided to go public about it. When Cordy built up the nerve to give her friends a decent scolding, and give a damn in what they thought, so that she could openly be with Xander

Yes, I loved the end of "Bothered, Bewitched, and Bewildered" when she stands up to her friends and walks away arm in arm with Xander. I was pumping my fist in the air and cheering, "Go Cordy!"

I love how they still snark and banter even as a couple though.

Yeah, I think that when he bought her the prom dress that was very sweet.

Nodakskip (I don't know if he posts here) writes some great C/X fanfic. He used to post with us over at the ST board!

Cander fics are nice. I read one where Cordelia was given this horrible curse where she can read people's feelings and minds.. and it takes control of her... Angel comes in to help since she's a good friend and decides to help since it doesn't bother her as much when she's around him since you can't read vampires minds.

Well anyway the story ends with Angel and Cordelia being good friends and him helping her to get back with Xander.

it was really cute.

That does sound cute!

The other one I did read that was a bittersweet C/X fic was about Cordy visiting Xander as her last person after YW, and she helps him resolve things with Anya as a way of saying goodbye. It was very sweet and very sad.

Nickletv at JustFic also writes C/X fic that is very well written as well.
