They're the lighter comedy version of the FG! Except they all got a bit dark towards the end, which I didn't really like. I loved that season 7 of Buffy was trying to get back to the happier times when W/X/B were such a strong team.

I agree. It was a little odd though, but I guess it went with the way of the stories.

Angel
Season 1: Happy New group team
season 2: Dark Angel, group split up
season 3: love, loss, and departure
season 4: Evil Cordy (Jasmine)
season 5: Team pulled apart

Buffy
season 1: Happy New group team
Season 2: Evil Angel (Angelus), group going through hard times
season 3: loss, love, and departure
season 4: Marine storyline

season 5: New evil, Buffy's coming to her end
Season 6: Buffy resurected not the same, Team Pulled apart
Season 7: Team regaining senses to come back together as a family

So I guess from the way it's made Ats series skipped ahead to the dark era in season 4, and weren't given the final season to pull themselves back together as a family.

They would never have been a proper family without Cordy though

Do you think the Scoobies would have done more to try and get Cordy out of her coma if she'd stayed in SD? For some reason, I can't see them sticking her in a plush hospital room and hoping for a miracle

I don't even see them making a deal to keep Cordy alive in the hospital.

Angel was the only one who cared enough for Cordy.

I think though, I have the strangest feeling if they were given a season 6 Cordy would've been back, but maybe that's because of the comics, course they're written by someone totally different.

I thik Joss still does the comics, he's the genius behind the arcs anyway, kind of like he was for the shows. Probably why we haven't had Cordy back straight away

I think if David G. was in charge she'd have been added in right off

I don't see the Scoobies leaving Cordy alone like that, especially not if she'd gone through the whole personality change like she did in Angel. Willow and Xander grew to care about what happened to Spike, so I think they would have done the same with Cordy.

Well I still think, hope and wonder.

I don't know, I just can't see it with the scoobies, she seemed to fit with the fang gang more in the sense of caring for eachother.

She definitely did fit in more with the FG but if she'd stayed in SD, I think they would have had to make her more like the Scoobies, less abrasive in the beginning, kind of like a s3 Angel Cordy in a Buffy season 4

I don't think she would've stayed in the Scooby gang.

When I first watched the series, I didn't even know about what Ats was.

And had No clue that Cordelia went to that show, so after season finale, I had a feeling Cordelia was leaving and she wouldn't be coming back, I kept thinking, "sadly her character is done with the Scooby Gang, to bad I really wanted to see more of her.

"
So yeah, that's what I thought, and I was so happy and excited to see her on ANGEL.

And thought that choice for her was much suited.

Cordy definitely made more sense on Angel, if only because she was needed there and not just an unwelcome guest in the SG

If they'd made her welcome in SD, I think she might have had a better time there. Like if Angel had stayed and Wes had turned up again, she could have had her support system in SD

Oz would have fitted in better with the Fang Gang in Sunnydale better than with the Scoobies sometimes

I know Joss had a plan, like from day one, but he could have tried to work around it sometimes

Both Oz and Cordy could have left at the end of s3 Buffy and ended up in L.A. Oz could have gone there to try and make it famous with the Dingos

Oh I would've more liked it that he left to LA after the Willow/Oz break-up and Cordy and Angel could've bumped into him on a full moon or something.

That wouldn't have been half bad, especially as we wouldn't have had the whole Buffy hunting Oz or Veronica in season 4 if Oz had left BtVS in s3, so it would have been a freshish SL!

And then Oz could have joined the FG and him and Cordy could have bonded
