Plus, we would have gotten the Angel reaction! And how Cordy would have reacted to being a mom to a halfish demon-type baby. She would have been perfect

Well if you think about it we didn't have the ideas then so we probably would've screwed it up too.

Who knows But I do wish he tried a different route.

very true, even if it wouldn't be the right story line we would've thought up something allot better and still would've kept that one scene between Buffy and Angel.

I think Angel's life doesn't have meaning without Cordy in it

And I wouldn't have wanted to take away the Bangel scene, either, I just would have had it go a bit differently - like Angel telling B about C and Buffy standing up for her relationship with Spike

Anything that didn't have Cordy in a mystical coma would be good enough for me

Oh they could've still ended it with Cordy in a mystical coma also, but with Cordy's prophecy son being born the writers would've had more reason to bring her back to the show.
