I can't remember any other times where Angel/Cordy were supposed to be friendly together in BtVS for CC to get him to smile, really.

but they didn't have that many scenes together in the btvs seasons.

i think they didn't get many scenes together because they had better onscreen chemistry than db/smg

i think he followed her knowing very well who he was following he had vamp senses after all and further more i think he enjoyed it and he seemed pretty happy in that scene not the least bit upset that it wasn't buffy he found

i know you could totally tell that he knew exactly who he was following he looked happier than i had ever seen him look until halloween when cordy keeps him company at the bronze then that is the last time angel(with soul not sans) looks like he is happy or enjoying himself until ats
