I kind of love the friendly-rivalry with them running against each other for Homecoming Queen. It was funny seeing Willow and Xander torn between them

Oh, yeah, definitely!

They were both a little bit more adult in those seasons - Cordy was less bitchy but still with an edge, and Buffy had realised that though life does suck sometimes it's better than no life at all.

And they were both the kind of girls who would sacrifice themselves for the people they loved

Maybe Willow could have done a spell that had them believing they were sisters for an episode

They would have tried to kill each other!

OMG that would have been genius. And the reason for the spell is so Buffy could get info or Cordy could get info, you know how secrets are spread through sisters.
