Cartoons - Yu-Gi-Oh: The Abridged Series

It was kind of discussed in the Anime Appreciation thread but I thought posters and lurkers might confuse this with the actual YGO anime series.

Anywho, has anyone seen it before? It's basically episodes cut down to 5-7 minutes with voice overs from LittleKuriboh. Quite hillarious whether or not you're a Yu-Gi-Oh fan.

Anyway, here's some links if you want to check it out. However, with the exception of the main site, YouTube and DailyMotion tend to take down the episodes.

I'd love to list all the jokes but it might take up an entire page. It's just crazy!

Some of them include Bandit Keith's obsession with America, Mai's obsession with her...er..clevage...and Tristan/Honda's cluelessness.

I got too many quotes, but Bandit Keith and Duke have some hillarious at the moment:

Bandit Keith:

"I modeled myself after the greatest American Hero of all time: Hulk Hogan!"

"I can't believe Yugi forfeited the match. Ben Afleck would be ashamed...in America."

Duke:

"Keep your eyes on me ladies. Cheap parlor tricks are extremely erotic."

You know, Bakura and Kaiba have some great quotes too:

Bakura

Kaiba

And one of my favorite scenes (so hard to choose!) with Bakura and Kaiba (abridged episode 14):

Bakura: Oh my. If Yugi attacks, the shockwaves could send Kaiba flying right off the edge of the castle.
Kaiba: Your gay friend is right, Yugi.
Bakura: I'm not gay I'm just British!

Also another great quote from Kaiba:

(to Yami) "Wait, did your testicles drop in the last 5 seconds? What the heck happened to your voice?"

Tristan:
"Bakura, are you spiderman?"

Mokuba:
"Big brother, is it time for my cameo yet?"

The Paradox brothers was hillarious!

Para: You have tricked us with your magic box.
Dox: We invite you to suck on our c....
Bakura: Cold blimey, that was a smashing move!

and...

Para: It seems that we have run out of luck.
Dox: It's just a card game, who gives a f---
Mokuba: Big brother, you came to rescue me. What the hell took you so long??

Pegasus:
"I can't have people thinking I'm straight."
"What are you doing here? This room is for main characters only."

Yami:
"I place Tea face down. I've always wanted to say that."

And the henchman's quote are funny, no matter how many times you listen to it.
"My hair wants to marry you." and "Attention duelists (insert blank here)"

And the Christmas Special where Kaiba sees what happens in the future with the Yu-Gi-Oh GX and realizing he'll get less screen time than Bakura

Tristan: I can't wait to get to India, I want to meet Pocahontas.
Joey: Yeah, and all her little woodland friends.
Yugi: Um, guys? I don't think Pocahontas was...
Tristan and Joey (singing): Can you paint with all the colors of the wind

And that episode when they were on a ship and Weevil threw Yugi's cards into the ocean and Joey jumped off the ship to save them, with the Titanic theme song playing the in the background.

I still can't watch that one without laughing.

What I really liked, was the plot twist in the end where it turns out Bandit Keith is Canadian! (not really spoiler but color coded just the same!

)

Anyway I just came in here to say that I'm "squee-ing" and in "awww" mode because of LittleKuriboh's newest video. Dunno if I should post this since it's not Yugioh related (persay). But in case anyone wants to know... (color coded in case people wanna be surprised or they aren't really interested.)

It was so sweeeet! He proposed to his girlfriend via Youtube! Awwwwww!

I saw that video. It is sweet! He mentioned in his LJ that he would do it eventually but I didn't think he'd do it via YouTube

Another favorite quote from ep.23:

Yeah, the video was cute. But YouTube suspended his account yet again not too long after putting that video up.

Gotta love Episode 23. Can't wait for the next episode...since it's with Yami going out with Tea...I think
