I saw it. Since I've never liked Kanye West, it was all good in my eyes. The man is quite full of himself. The song at the end was pretty funny.

I did read somewhere that Kanye West actually praised South Park for the episode so maybe he can take a joke after all?

No, Jimmy as in the cripple. "Wow, what a great audience."

Who saw last week's episode with the derby? I'm probably going to watch it later tonight but after reading the synopsis...the storyline didn't seem interesting.

The plot was a bit silly but it was still a pretty funny episode.

This is just to give you the gist of it.

Quote:
Randy Marsh is determined to make sure that his son, Stan, wins the annual state pinewood derby. He slips an object into the rear end of the car in order to give it an advantage. Stan learns from a news report, much to his disgust, that the object is a superconducting magnet, stolen from the Large Hadron Collider by Randy in disguise as Princess Leia.
I didn't see too much of the Space Cash part since I was watching something else at that time. But all and all, from what I've seen, it was so-so.

Anyway, here's this Wednesday's episode. This is also the final episode for the first half of its current season until fall.

Quote:
Fatbeard

Cartman dreams of living the life of a pirate so he tries to get to Somalia. Butters and a small group of recruits join Cartman in his dream of living on the skull island, where they will frolic in crystal clear waterfalls and discover buried treasure.

I had a slight feeling they were going to do something based on the whole pirate attacks going on lately, especially since there was news of more ships being hijacked after one of the American ships was rescued.

"Fatbeard" was hilariously awesome!

My favorite part was Ike's letter to his family. Super funny!

Just the first half of its season. They'll be coming back with new episodes some time this fall. They do it every season: Air new episodes during spring, take a summer break, air new episodes during the fall, take a few months off, rinse, lather, repeat until they decide to change their schedules or cancel their series.

Wouldn't really blame them since they are rather well known for getting things done last minute prior to being aired on Comedy Central (or whatever network airs South Park). That's how they manage to stay atop on some current situations.

I'll be honest...season 13 isn't impressing me so far. So let's find something to discuss about until the fall. Um...

What do you guys think would happen in the next half of the season? What do you think they would cover (seeing that they tend to cover current events).

For me, if they had not ended their season early, they would have covered the whole Swine Flu epidemic.

Season 13 hasn't been impressive for me so far. I liked the Jonas Brothers one and the pirate one, but the others didn't hold my attention too well.

I miss Chef, that's probably the reason.

Yeah, unfortunately there's no chance of him coming back since Issac Hayes passed away.
