Speaking of which, I'm lacking sleep again.

Had went out running yesterday early morning, wanted to catch up on a small nap when I had to end up going out for the rest of the day.

And the weather was humid and raining, no internet at the house, so here I'm at Starbucks for a while with my laptop...

My grandma was supposed to have surgery for her leg but it was canceled because she drank something that was not liquid (water, juice) prior to the surgery. So now it's rescheduled for this Saturday.

They're going to put a screw or something in her leg because it's not healing fast enough. According to an x-ray, there was a fracture on her leg. They said what caused it had something to do with the medicine she took for many years. I'm not too sure.

On another bad news, one of my grandpas has been at home under hospice care for some time. He's not bed ridden but what's scary is when my aunt told us that they brought in the priest the other night to perform the last rites (not much of a huge religious buff here) since there was a close call. So now they're giving him weeks to live.

I suppose the only good news is that a cousin of mine has arrived from the Philippines and is staying here until November so I've been spending some time with her.

Oh well, gonna go Starbucks and work on my story, then pick up my friend, eat out at Hooters for the first time, before picking my folks up from the airport.

And no, I'm not taking my cousin to the hell hike again.

To tell you the truth, I don't know the exact route to the hiking trail since it's at a residential neighborhood.

Thumb knuckle is killing me. Hate it when this happens.

ETA: Holy jeez, there hasn't been a post here on the board since yesterday!

I should probably type up that Suggestions thread I proposed a while back.

Sorry that I didn't post yesterday. I've been trying to work on my baby shower party slated for this Sunday as well as trying to keep the swelling down in my left foot (more pregnancy goodies). There's so much to do yet I can't be on my feet too long.

So you get swelled up feet when you're pregnant? Yikes. Maybe it's because other than having to support your weight, you'd have to support the weight of the baby you're carrying.

It's that and other things like the hormones and so forth. I'm tired but then again I'm also tired of just lying there with millions of thoughts on my mind too. So, the only cure for me is to get on my feet and keep myself busy. Crazy, huh?

Sadly, you can't win in both.

Sometimes I don't think I'd be able to wake up to a baby crying, especially in the dead of the night.

Yeah, I expect my restful nights will be gone when little one arrives, which I'm kind of prepared for. I think I may be in my "nesting" period right now, though. I actually organized the toolbox, scrubbed the floor and decided to do some painting in the kitchen. Very weird.
