Did you catch anything related to a Cartoon today?

Hi everyone! So in this thread, we'd like to know what cartoon bit you happened to stumble upon today. It can be anything you saw in a magazine, or a poster, a bulletin, or even something you heard. Hell, it can even be the fact that you put new Spongebob Squarepants sheets on your bed - if that's your sort of thing. Just be sure that it is related to Cartoons. For example:

I was jamming to some songs from the Sailor Moon soundtrack today.

See? That's something related to cartoons. I hope I haven't confused you guys.

Everyday, I read Garfield comics via the internet. So do this count? In addition, I am going to buy the Cartman DVD for my sibling. You know that, "I'm not fat, I'm big-boned!."

There's a Cartman DVD? Unless if you're talking about the one that has his "music group" Faith Plus One.

Although on a related note, I have been listening to the dreidel (sp?) song from South Park.

Gerald: Courtney Cox...I love you...you're so hot...on that show.
Kyle: Dad? Dad? We're singing about a dreidel.

H jimmywoo! Yes, that counts.

Kris, that's a good one too.

Today, I decided to check out some more songs from the Sailor Moon soundtrack.

So nice Amazon is having those on sale. The sad thing is that it's the only place you could find those old school cartoons.

Caroline, what songs have you listened to?

Thought I should bump this up and ask if anyone has seen that show Man vs. Cartoon on truTV.

Here's the gist of it:
Quote:
Watch as a team of the country’s brightest minds takes on the devices and techniques used by Wile E. Coyote in his vain attempts to snare his arch-enemy the Road Runner. See if expertise, years of training and the best equipment that money can buy will be enough to actually make Coyote’s flawed Acme Company machines work.

Mostly the tunes that the scouts transform to.

Krs, I haven't seen Man vs. Cartoon. When does it come on?

Yesterday, I went to see Transformers 2, which, might I add, is definitely not for kids.

Yeah, those ones are pretty catchy. Of all the transformation songs, which one do you like?

The Starlights. It just has a very catchy tune to it.

Today I caught some Jackson 5 cartoons on t.v. I forgot that they used to have their own cartoon back in the day.

I just watched Man vs. Cartoon tonight. It's pretty interesting to see how they calculate their moves in order to get it right. I always wondered if it was possible to actually be "pushed" with the power fan strapped to your back. Guess that answered my question.

My favorite one of the show was when they were recreating the scene of shooting the Road Runner with a cannon while the bird is running at 294 miles per second on a 1,000 foot railway. Didn't get to see the end though. I should have...since their cannon had accidentally fired twice before the Road Runner was set to take off.
