| Master Fan   | An Avatar thread! Wooooo!  You did what I was too chicken to do, open up a thread for this awesome show that very few people here probably have heard of!  You're officially awesome, Allison!  I am so excited about season 3; I'm like Foaming Mouth Guy over here!  And since there's a thread I can post tons of pictures so people will see the sharacters that go with the show:   Which one is better? The show is light and cartoony sometimes (mostly early season 1) but it can be dark as well (like late season 2) Oh and these are all the DVD covers so far: Water Book 1, Vol. 1: Aang Book 1, Vol. 2: Katara Book 1, Vol. 3: Sokka Book 1, Vol. 4: Prince Zuko Earth Book 2, Vol. 1: Aang and Princess Azula Book 2, Vol. 2: Toph and Aang Book 2, Vol. 3: The Aang Gang plus Appa Book 2, Vol. 4: Aang, Zuko, and Uncle Iroh __________________ If Ugly Betty … concludes its run at the end of this season, as is widely speculated, series creator Silvio Horta would like to reunite his awkward leading lady with MIA beau Henry Grubstick, whom Horta believes is the true love of Betty’s life. - TV Guide | |||

Maybe they have episodes on YouTube?Allison, you and I are in the same boat in terms of anticipating the new season. | I try to avoid the major ATLA websites, actually. It seems to get a little extreme in those places. I lurk in the TWOP Avatar thread a lot though. I've seen one ATLA commerical on Nick... and 2 other ones on youtube, but they were for the Canadian channel that airs it. I bought an Avatar coloring book tonight. I wanted Book 1 on DVD, but sadly, it's out of my price range. __________________ | |||

| I'm just so used to Aang being bald. I've been rewatching the series, and there's a line from Sokka (I think it's from The Library) and he's lost his boomerang and he says something like "What if you lost your arrow or Katara lost her hair loopies." And I thought it was interesting considering that's kind of what's going to happen in the new season. __________________ | |||

| I rented the discs off Netflix because I wanted to see the episodes in order. When I was going through Book One, there were two episodes I had never seen. I was shocked because I try to watch Avatar whenever it's on. __________________ | |||
