We'll get a photo of the cast around June? Cool! Hopefully it's around the time of my birthday. That would be a nice present. (Unless the casting looks all wrong. Then that present would suck.

Apparently the teaser trailer is going to be attached to Transformers 2.

Also, they've been filming in Pennsylvania and Greenland. There's some pictures and info here.

Thanks Allison! Those pictures look... well, fine I guess. I was hoping to see an actor though.

And I can't wait to see the trailer when it gets put up on Youtube ('Cuz there's no way I'm sitting through Transformers 2 just for a trailer of a movie I'm still on the fence about.

Well, I was going to go see Transformers anyway.

I suspect the trailer will be a lot like the first teaser trailer for The Dark Knight. A bit of dialogue, the title, and the release date. If we're lucky we may see some of Dev.

I've been thinking, and I think the best strategy when going to see the movie is to think of it as completely separate from the cartoon. This is what I do when I see a movie based on a book that I really like. I think it can be applied here too.

Yeah I'm probably gonna do the same. As long as the acting is believable and the effects are solid, I'll consider it a good movie. (I'm wondering how they'll render Appa and Momo...)

BTW, when does Transformers come out? And if you or any of the Avatar gals on here go see it, tell me what the trailer is like because when it comes to Avatar, I'm clearly desperate for news even if the promo is minuscule.

Transformers comes out June 24. I'm desperate as well. Right now I feel like it's just going to be a whole lot of bad. Hopefully the trailer will change that.

hehe glad you posted the site allison chains, i was just thinking of doing it myself.
they recently added a new pic of dev as zuko in the southern water tribe and a new set pic as well. very cool.

at first i didn't know what to make of dev playing zuko but since looking at these pics, i think i'm warming up to him.

what i'm worried about is how they will do appa and momo how can they pull that off in a live action movie? idk. and hey-hopefully pictures of katara and sokka will surface soon.

So am I! I think I'm more worried about Appa and Momo than I am about the actors. I haven't read anything about them. Aang without Appa is just... wrong.

Also, I found out recently that Mai Whitman (voice of Katara) is going to be in the movie Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, playing Roxy Richter. I'm super excited about this. I love the graphic novel and it's being directed by Edgar Wright (Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz), and I just had to share.

I like Mai Whitman so it's nice to hear what she's doing recently. I haven't heard of that graphic novel so I'll do some Googling.

If anyone has news on the voice actors of Avatar, post that here too! I'm sure I can't be the only one who's wondering what Jack DeSena or Jessie Flower are doing.

I always describe Scott Pilgrim as Canadian Manga. It might not be a completely correct description, but it works. They're very funny and very quick reads. I definitely recommend them.

Out of the Avatar alum, Mai seems to be getting the most work. And I just found out that the girl who did the voice of Princess Yue, Johanna Braddy, is Jordan from Greek. I've been thinking that she was familiar all season. Now I know why. Lol.

Canadian manga? Well there's something you don't see typed everyday.

And what has Mai's VA been up to anyway? (Sucks that I haven't heard much from the original cast VAs...)
