Alyson Hannigan - Sarah and Aly?

Did they get along and were they friends off set? I'm just wondering

I think they did up until season 4 of buffy from what i remember reading. I think they had a fight or something someone can correct me on that.

Yep, I'm fairly certain that Karbear is right.

It's such a pity - But it shows how fine their acting is, because they never let it break their professional focus.

As for Sarah and Aly, there were lots of indications that they were very tight during the early days of the series. The best people can figure, like Kar said, around season four they seemed to have had a falling out. By the end of the series it was rumored they were NOT getting along at all. Aly received quite a bit of flack for speaking out in her FHM interview about her being hurt that Sarah never spoke to the cast first about quitting the show and just announcing for everyone to find out in the EW article.

Some say the tension on set was caused by Freddie Prinze Jr telling them all that Sarah could do better than the show.

I've heard most of the cast did not like FPJ and his relationship with Sarah.

I agree, it is quiet sad in the end.

but its true how good at acting they were to act as best friends.. lol it just makes it more ..wow..

Well not to diss Sarah or anything, but I've heard that some of her All My Children co-stars weren't so fond of her either, but alot of that might have to due with her winning the Emmy at such a young age over the seasoned vets like Susan Lucci.

Ya know, for the longest time, I blamed that on Susan Lucci. But the more I hear around the AMC gossip mill, the more I have to wonder. Eden was SUCH a sweetheart when I met her, and she thinks the world of Susan, so I can't imagine her being nasty or anything of the like. I don't know, I guess some people just don't mesh.

But Nikki hit on something. We need to make sure to keep this thread from turning into a lynch mob. No real people bashing allowed

Well you know, Aly and Sarah seemed to close back then, the SNL sign and then Aly's little sign on the talk show, you have to wonder if they were like really close friends and then FPJ came in between them or something.

Yeah I never really liked him as an actor to be honest.

I did like him in Scooby Doo until he and Daphne hooked up. I was really feeling the Freddie/Thelma vibes for some reason.
