THANK YOU! The second they were in a scene together I was totally noticing Marti's touch on the whole thing.

Well some of the bigger B/W eps were Marti's touch, with the exception of 'Choices'.

See I always took Marti as a die-hard Spuffy fan for some reason, never a Wiffy one.

Actually I think Marti was Riley/Buffy fan first and foremost.

But if you go back and look at some of Marti's episodes, you can see she had a bit of a fondness for them I think.

She did

What's My Line, which had the nice Nurse Willow scenes
Bad Eggs, which was all Buffy being all concerned about Willow's attack egg
Dead Man's Party, which speaks for itself
The Prom, with breakup snuggles
Living Conditions, where they become roomies,
Wild At Heart, which is arguably one of the most shippy
Bargainiing, which was all about Willow bringing Buffy back

So there were definitely a couple quite shippy eps in her arsenal

Marti never ceases to amaze me I guess. Although she wasn't my favorite writer for the show, that honor goes to Jane Espensen and Joss, she's okay.

I actually preferred David Fury the most. But Jane wrote some of the best comedy episodes.

See Fury isn't a huge name in my book, I think when he wrote Angel episodes that he really pissed all over the Cordy/Angel relationship, with the exception of "You're Welcome" and he killed Cordy off in that one.

Of course Cordy/Angel were doomed from the start I suppose, but alas, that is another thread.

See I think C/A were doomed because of Joss, not Fury. I tend to have a big chip on my shoulder with the letters J O S S though. Just not a fan of the way he ended things, for either show. Or the directions he took them towards the end.

I just feel that Joss was really assy to say in that article that C/A were a big mistake and that nobody liked them cause there was a huge fanbase for this couple up until he started ripping them apart.

Maybe it's cause I was so not into B/A that I'm so furious about the way C/A ended or never had a chance. I was just so freakin tired of "True Love" with B/A, it always seemed squicky to me, I mean he was 250yrs old and she was 15, ewww! That and he constantly treated her like a child added into the squickyness of the situation. I could see them getting together like during Buffy's seventh season, I felt that she had matured and they had grown, but when she was 15-16, she was not ready for that relationship.

The same reason I didn't like B/A was probably the same reason I wasn't a Spuffy fan. I don't tend to go for that star crossed type of thing. I guess because of Romeo and Juliet, and that was a tragedy. Who wants that kind of love that won't last and ends sadly?

Yeah but Spuffy were okay with me, I guess because he wasn't Angel and I had such hate for B/A. I suppose that I thought it was best that Buffy be happy with someone so she wouldn't be trying to come back and ruin C/A. It's amazing what I will ship just to make my one true couple happy, lol.

Okay you could definatly tell that Christina/Judy are very subtexty tonight on Point Pleasant, there were a ton of shippy looks and the whole thing was very Buffy/Willow when Willow would be hurt and Buffy take up for her or something. Also, I'm almost sure that Jesse/Christina are like twins, which makes the fact that I swooned over the stairwell kiss really really gross.

Oh yeah, it was really out there last night with Judy and Christina. Even down to making the jerk in the other car pay for being a brat. And we're what, three episodes in? Looking good

As for Christina and Jesse, I'm in that same boat with ya Nikki

I know, the femslashyness of this show is just great! Well that and Dina getting a ton of screentime as well.

The only thing I don't like is Christina's hair, I just wish it were styled some other way, it bugs me for some reason, too Buffy Season Four or something.

I love that Dina is getting so much screentime. But I can't help but miss the old Barbara/Helena slashyness from BoP

As for the hair, for some reason I think it was pretty much like it is PP that it was on AMC.
