I actually can record off of mine, but I can't imagine how many tapes it would take to send it all to you

I am getting a DVD burner by the end of this month though, so maybe that might be more persuasive?

That's actually one of the big reasons why I've been looking into a new laptop with DVD capability. I'm kinda limited with what I have at my disposal right now as it is.
