Yeah, Tia... I just can't bring myself to see Leslie Thompkins as some hot, raven haired love interest when you know that in the comics she's depicted more like Peter Parker's Aunt May.

And you're right, the show did make her about as toxic and Barbara, and I honestly thought that the show would have Jim and Barbara end up together, but no such luck, I guess.

Yeah, it might've been nice to have some OC members, but Morena and Ben actually fell in love on the set of Gotham.

And prior to that she was on Firefly, another Fox show that Fox decided to prematurely axe.

But even if I took the whole comics elements out of it, I still am not a fan of Lee/Gordon relationship because of how it was written on the show... Lee only became interesting when she got affected with the virus and became dark.... and even last season, those times when she was shades of dark did impact and for some reason, this current season it's like none of that even happened.

I loved Lee when she got all dark

But that comic with Leslie Thompkins was actually one of my favorites.

Batman Annual #1, The Player On The Other Side, featuring the first appearance of The Wrath. Damn, those were good days.

Good Lee is just not that interesting to me. Morena Baccarin is better at playing mysterious or morally ambiguous characters. Those are the roles I've loved her in from Firefly, Stargate SG-1, V, and Deadpool. When she's played good characters she's boring, Homeland and the first few seasons of Gotham and the last season of Gotham.

it's the same with WWE... some HEELs wrestlers are better off left as HEELs and most are the percentage of careers because of their mic and acting skills

some Faces/ good guy roles of the WWE remain Face and get bood because they become boring. John Cena is the prime example of that
