Didn't Jax find another gun in Rip's secret armory that could stop RF for a while? The cold gun wasn't the only weapon that could stop RF.

^ Yes .... but he delivered one shot and stopped using it and almost killed Jax until Ray helped up....
I think they had pieces and built it together or something.... I forgot. lol

Amaya had one as well but Amaya and Jax were both unsuccessful, and luckily Reverse Flash had Black Flash chasing him or it would've been a bad time.....

It's about the PERSON who's using it. Leonard Snart did his studying job perfectly which was why he was the best in the team when it came to stopping a speeder.

I think Amaya let RF get into her head with his taunting about having killed Rex. I can't remember why Jax didn't just keep shooting that gun at RF. Basically they had the same problem of not just killing the target immediately when they had the chance to. Bad guys suffer from that too with their monologues.

It's a recurring problem for Jax

He kept talking to Stein in Doomworld and didn't shoot him with the memory gun. He kept talking to evil!Rip and didn't shoot him. That's a lesson he could have learned from Sara. She called Jax's name and immediately shot him with the memory gun in Doomworld
