Alex...keep on looking for a new job...it can be hard, but sometimes you can get lucky... I quit my temp job of dishwashing job after moving home from college and wanted retail. I got it with NO experience at all.

I'm currently job hunting. It does suck, I haven't interviewed in 4 years. I tend to stay at my jobs too long.

A IT help desk position. I've been doing that at my current job part time, with many other jobs. This is my first interview in 4 years and I hate interviewing.

Same here. Although I've always been told that's a good thing when you do go switch jobs.
I don't count my first 2 jobs since I was 16 and both were only for like 4ish months and it was so long ago. But my third real job I stayed at for 6 years then 6 years at the one after that then I went back to that third job as a manager and been back for 2 years now.

I feel like I don't interview well.

I went on my interview today. It's so stressful. I know I probably won't get the job, but the interviewer was nice.

They just called an offered me the job.

I wasn't expecting it. It's a IT Help Desk position which is what I wanted to get into. Plus it's much close to my place than my current job. The only downside is it's a contract position for 1 year.

I needed it because my current job is doing lay offs and I have a feeling I'm on the next list.
