The actors in interviews all said the ending was terrible. We thought they were joking.
They ended at Season 8 and shortened the season to 6 episodes instead of 10. I think that hurt the show. They caught up with the books by Season 5. GRRM has not finished book 6 and 7, it's been 8 years since book 5. I don't know if he'll ever finish them. Now I want to read them to see how he would end everything given more time to write a story that makes more sense. I know I won't get the awesome visual in my new icon though. So the show gave me that at least.  __________________
