SAYING GOODBYE
The Legends continue their hunt for pieces of the Loom of Fate and find themselves face to face with William Shakespeare. Ray (Brandon Routh), Nate (Nick Zano), Rory (Dominic Purcell), Constantine (Matt Ryan), Charlie (Maisie Richardson-Sellers) and Behrad (guest star Shayan Sobhian) stay a little longer on the mission making things worse after lying to Sara (Caity Lotz). Meanwhile, Ray and Nora (Courtney Ford) make another big life decision that leaves the team surprised and best buds, Nate and Ray, on the outs.
Jes Macallan, Tala Ashe and Olivia Swann also star.

Farewell Ray Palmer, for now,
This episode was fantastic to watch, even though Brandon Routh was blindsided by getting written off and so was I as a viewer, this episode really showed the strength in Brandon as an actor and the writing team when they want to write that good material. I definitely believe his whole exit arc was rushed because I didn’t truly feel that Ray wanted to leave. I felt more like Damien told him to make that decision which made Ray decide to leave but I still felt that his journey was unfinished even if I appreciated the happy ending.

Mick calling Ray, “haircut”... classic! Thanks writers.
Ray/Sara scenes throughout the episodes were special and to hear Ray leave in respect and call her “Captain Lance” was also special, a respect and friendship that grew so far from pass their confrontation in 2x01!

The Ray and Nate stuff. The Sunshine Brothers sfuff truly hit more emotionally than I expected it would and that’s goes to the acting and the writing! You can feel their pain over having to say goodbye and of course Nate didn’t find out by Ray telling him which made matters worst. I was so happy that they got to say their goodbye though! It was perfect for Nate to tell Ray how happy he was for him even if he’s sadden by not being able to hang out with his BFF everyday anymore. One of Ray and Nate best scenes there.

The Nate/Sara scenes were special! It really threw me back to when Nate always wanted to hug Sara but Sara wasn’t with it! lol how much they’ve both grown. lol I love that Sara reassured Nate that she will be there for him. Their failed hug was hilarious. Lol

I really liked that when Constanie was getting spied on that it didn’t take him a long time to notice someone was looking in on him. Even if it was a second too late.

That was some amazing Romeo & Juliet stuff.

Mona return in this episode proved that she’s an amazing character when she’s in small doses! Her friendship with Mick had always been fun to watch and she even allowed a hug!! Wow. If I don’t get Mona overload, I am good with it.

Oh and that scene with Ray and Gilden was fantastic! When we saw that tear come out of the AI head face alert Gildeon a lot of us felt the same.
We might get Brandon/Ray back in the future. I loved the way he left so opened ended even if it was the end.

Ray leaving was definitely sad and rushed. I enjoyed all his farewells, though like Brandon said, it was a lost opportunity not to have a farewell between Ray and Mick. And Ray/Sara didn't have enough scenes together, though I'm glad to know they have trivial nights.

Mona and Mick were great, Nate as Juliet was hilarious, the whole play was crazy with how OTT they all acted, except John and Zari.

I missed Nate and Sara's friendship. After a 2+ season hiatus, I'm glad to see that again.
