Seems like the animated world is different because Mari has the long hair on Arrow but the short one in the animated series and vice versa for Kuasa. lol

So, I guess we aren't suppose to really remember that. lol Or care for it. lol

Also, what I still find intriguing is that Mari designed her own outfit without knowing her grandmother wore a similar like outfit.. It's not the same but it look very similar.
Also it was Cisco to name Mari, "Vixen"

But, I do not think that they ever planed to bring in Kuasa until this season. Since she's even portrayed by a different voice actress. The voice actress for Mari is the same as the actress in the live action in Megalyn Echikunwoke.

Yeah I've been saying for ages how confused I am that Amaya has that similar costume and the same 'name' when Mari got those from Cisco so not apparently from any knowledge of Amaya

Far as I can tell though, on Mari's hair in the cartoon, we were seeing her in there when she was starting. Then we fast forwarded a bit (can't remember how much), so either her hair grew in that time or she got extensions or something

And Kuasa... well maybe mysterious chick didn't bring back all her hair

You are actually probably correct about Mari.

So yeah I guess for her it makes sense.

Nah, I quickly made the first one I posted and found the other ones quickly on tumblr.

And Barry and Oliver are voiced by Grant and Stephen.

Actually everyone is voiced by themselves besides Kausa who I think they never expected to be on the shows.

I did make this gifset below like a month ago though cause I loved the scene. lol

I was so confused when I watched the Vixen movie, took a while to figure out they probably added that segment with the zoo in the middle for the movie or something...

^ I do wonder how Kausa automatically put together that Amaya was probably her grandmother? She didn't know at first but when she saw the totem, it's what made her know she couldn't kill Amaya or else she would be killing herself.

Kuasa character is written the same as she was in the animated movie though. She always wants to be stronger which is why she wants the strongest totems.

And yes, I think in the end, that was her totem when she disappeared.

Maybe Kuasa had seen pictures of Amaya, and while she didn't recognize her initially, Amaya using her totem reminded her of it. It'll be easier for a descendant to recognize an ancestor than the other way round.

Yeah that would be interesting.

I know for sure that Mari does NOT know anything about her family. Kuasa was the one to tell Mari that they were sisters. For Mari it was about finding her family.
Kuasa filled her in on the history.

And she's the oldest sister... so probably her mother did show her a picture of Amaya or something...

Just from what I knew of it all, and looking up synopsis from season 1/2, the bit in the middle was just nothing I was reading
