I think I wouldn't have minded the direction of this Ray/Mick friendship if we didn't get the building of their friendships during the first few episodes of Season 2.

I mean we haven't even heard the famous, "Haircut" mention.

I don't get the need to drop everything just because they are building Amaya/Mick.

I think the whole MicRay friendship was a build up to saving the day in DC 1987

It was build up before that... it started it in Season 1 but slowly.

and that scene did surprise me with the Leonard gun/ pass the torch thing

^ Yeah, that's why this quick turn makes no sense.
The writers never should have put that scene in or really had the following episode be big for them if they were going to cut it this soon.

I think that's what pissed me off the most

Mick giving Ray the Cold Gun and trying to replace Snart with Ray - I came to appreciate it because it was a growth episode in 1987 for them both - though sucks they've had nothing since

I really am 50/50 about that whole situation related to the Gun

its like a dislike/like where I get some of it especially what we saw in 1987 but at the same time understanding doesn't mean I can't be a little annoyed
