I love how Dom has a lot of respect for Brandon Dom's right that their characters are absolute polar opposites - but it works so well

Exactly, I missed this one with Brandon! it's old ofc but he teased the Mick/Ray dynamic as well

Totally think that's why they invested on this one interesting Brandon wants to stay on Legends over Arrow not sure if this interview or another but he did say he wants to stick with Legends over future seasons of Arrow

They need to write him better if they are going to keep him I would like to see him on Arrow cause liked the little Oliver/Ray

But rather Mick/Ray but don't blame Brandon wanting to stay on LoT - more different personalities and its lighter plus they have potential to write him well

Dominic interview totally makes sense now.
These Mick/Ray scenes has been terrific. I loved what he said about working with Brandon.

Its what I liked about the series which they need to work on but what I liked - throwing all these characters together; opposites from each other. Few of them are like each other but then the off ones like our Mick/Ray of polar opposites makes it interesting

Yup and also probably the fan response really helped. That's why I tried to be level headed during the first ten episodes because the writers really didn't know how the fans would respond to anything.
However, in these last few episodes you clearly see the change. They ended what was messing up Ray, his relationship with Kendra. Put him in the scenes that works with Mick.

There are so many things I felt improved.

They did improve over the course of the latest episodes and true that they didn't have anything to go by with the first 10ish episodes they did fix it where glad they put Ray/Mick scenes

Agreed although I felt some characters didn't interact enough, Ray/Sara Len/Kendra Stein/Kendra etc

For now it appears 2 characters won't return, 1 woman and a man I guess, let it be the Hawks I feel their story should wrap up since it was connected a lot to Vandal and we know Vandal won't return..

Yeah that was weird about Ray/Sara but next season maybe I'm sure both will return, it's Mick I'm pretty unsure about
