I think the device only worked for a short while. Rip wasted time slowly stepping away from the blood splatter and flicking the bullet away. I think if it was invisibility, we would still have seen things moving around him at real time, with the bullet hitting whoever it was aimed for.

The whole time I was expecting Darhk to be faking it (not affected by the time freeze device) and to grab Rip by the throat while everyone else was still frozen. But he moved when everyone moved, so I guess he was really affected too.

Maybe Rip made a device out of whatever powers the Pilgrim in S1 had, in the "mannequin challenge" scene (in that empty warehouse) featuring the Legends

We just saw that she can beat him in a fair fight. She'll just have to find a way around his magic. She's Sara she's resourceful, she did outsmart Eobard.

Sara and Darhk really has the best rival of all the DC shows combined.

And Neal and Caity have great rivals chemistry which makes any scene they are in together an automatic must watch that never gets tiring.
