I think Mick realized that Ray and him are nothing alike and he couldn't replace Snart in that episode after he gave him the gun. Ray is too much of a boy scout to really be Mick's friend, Vixen is showing she can hang with him and play the bad guy without stumbling around like Ray did. She stole liquor from Al Capone.

Vixen's also similar to Sara in the way she'll do what she has to, to keep the mission going.

I don't want a romance but I don't mind them becoming friends.

I also wish that they would keep Mick/Amaya friends but don't see it happening - see romance, think we did even before the season started

same...I'm not supporting a V-Heat romance either and its sad that Ray and Mick are two different people

Umm... Melissa, I think the writers are definitely heading towards an Amaya/Mick friendship.

It was teased before the season and now it's being shown on the show. Especially with all the stuff Leonard was saying in Mick's head and how Mick called Amaya his only friend. I mean it's just obvious at this point. lol

Agreed.

but even then, Amaya needs to return to the 40s... or at least drop the baby off in the 40s.

Because the years wouldn't match up...

So, that's my biggest complaint is that they need to tie in Amaya going to the 40s to have Mari's mother.

The mother has to grow up at that time, no way around it.

It would, just make Rex alive and let him be the grandfather.

Or some random dude from the 40s we haven't met yet. lol

They can spin the story and say that Amaya already had a child but she wasn't ready to be a parent so she put her up for adoption.

Only other way I can see the story changing.
