Going to be honest, when I saw Ruby in this interview...

I was kind of turned off by her personality.:rotfl: From beginning to end. lol
I'll go watch another interview of her that'll probably be 20x better. lol That's just a bad first impression interview since it's the first one I watched her in.

I enjoy her portrayal of Batwoman I guess though.

She wasn't very good in OITNB when she was using her real Australian accent, it's much harder to act while using a different accent. I heard her Aussie accent slip through a few times in the pilot. I watch a lot of Aussie youtubers so I'm very familiar with accent.

She's okay when she's Batwoman since she doesn't talk much and it's a stunt double doing most of the fighting scenes (which are also not that good). As Kate she's pretty bland and doesn't stand out. Especially when the actress playing Alice does stand out. It's too bad they didn't ask her to reprise her role as Black Canary from the Birds of Prey show along with Huntress. I guess they figure they have enough BC's and basically made the name meaningless.

Well, Titans was great. If it's true that S2 has 13 episodes that mean there are like five episodes left of S2.

So far none of this is a ringing endorsement of Batwoman. :P

I've always felt that the character was a waste of time since she was originally conceived back in the 50s or 60s as a love interest for Batman, even though he already had Catwoman. And we also already had Batgirl, so this was basically a character no one needed or wanted, kind of like Superboy.

Speaking of Batwoman.

Not surprising. The CW rarely doesn't pick up their shows for a full season. Batwoman may not be doing amazing but it's on par with the rest of their shows which is what matters to them. Plus they are the one network that doesn't pay much attention to Neilson ratings. They know that most of their audience watches through streaming. Batwoman could be doing better on the +7 days part.

Yup, that's the main thing they take into considerations since all of their shows are doing bad if you are going only Neilsen viewership.

Right now Flash and Supernatural are the most watched shows on the network and both average less than 2 million viewers if we are solely judging on Neilsen ratings so they showed a long time ago how much they cared about those ratings.

Coconut1214 10-26-2019 12:03 PM

Yeah most shows I've seen gain a million or more viewers when you see the DVR/Streaming ratings added.

Makes sense! lol A lot of ratings needs to be taken into factor.

Coconut1214 10-26-2019 12:43 PM

So Fox finally got the memo. They were the last network too. Most other networks started renewing their Nieson low rated shows because they saw those shows were popular outside of that small group.

Fox seems to cancel shows the most.:rotfl:
I am STILL not over True Calling getting cancelled. lol

I have to be honest and say it's difficult for me to invest into tv shows because I look for it to get cancelled early.:( I like to at least wait for shows to get to season 3...

It's just a shame it's so difficult to enjoy shows because cancellations happen so quickly now.

The issue with doing that now is if people aren't watching the shows in the first season that's why they are getting cancelled. Since most networks are not caring about the neilson ratings, watching the show from your DVR or a streaming service counts. Shows can't make it to season 3 if everyone is waiting to watch until they get there.

That's what I do, I watch it through my DVR.
When I am home, I watch probably my wrestling and sports. I catch up on a lot of shows later because it's only 24 hours in the day. lol

The Good Place is the only show I watch live. And Law & Order but for the most part, I just don't have enough time since I am always at work and doing something!
Supergirl is probably the easiest show for me to watch live since it comes on Sunday. If I can catch up on these 2 episodes of Arrow, I will watch it live next week.
I already watch Legends of Tomorrow live (when it's on) even when I disliked it. lol

I want to go back to watching it live but it's so difficult when there are too many things to watch at once. I literally be recording like 5 things at one time.

I still haven't watched Arrow yet, cause I am currently catching up on my soap operas.
Will try to attempt to watch 2 Arrow episodes today! 7 day ratings club!

If I was more available, I think i'd be able to watch them live but unfortunately that's not the case and a lot of tv shows doesn't come on during the Holidays and weekend.

I am team keep your tv on your favorite channel even if you aren't watching it live.

It also shows how different viewing experience was in the past! Back 15+ years ago you had to watch live or you'd miss the episode! you had to choose a show to watch and there wasn't any streaming or DVR....

Coconut1214 10-26-2019 01:30 PM

Watching live doesn't matter thar much anymore. That was for neilson ratings. Watching on your DVR or streaming within 7 days counts now.

Hulu is great because you can watch live or they have the episode up the next day. I got rid of my cable, so that's how I watch shows.

See if I had Nielsen viewers I'd try to watch it as much as I can because I know my viewership truly matters.:look: And yeah I know the 7 day DVR counts which is why I at least try to watch the shows within 7 days!

Why isn't Hulu ratings getting tracked? lol
It's 28 million subscribers and they now have the tv added to it. It'd be nice for their ratings to start getting tracked and counted as to if a show gets renewed or not.

Netflix of course have 3x the consumers than Hulu which is why I believe CW has started seeing how their shows do on there.
