Nice trivia, that in the early comics! Clark considered Bruce his best friend as well! They were the only one (besides Clark's parents) who knew the truth about each other's secret...

Seems the recent years sort of changed things but they were BFF and Batman was the only one who can get into his Fortress of Solitude because of how much Clark trusted Bruce.

So this movie is really going back to those early comic days!

Yeah, I do wish DC would go back to some of those early days myself, Tia. DC and Marvel keep forgetting what makes these characters work for fans.

But yeah this animated movie is actually one of their best ones and for this movie they clearly stick with the basics of what worked. And it was before DC did that New 52 crap...
