Seems Batwoman got a series low in ratings.
I would've felt bad if season 1 sole purpose wasn't to tear down Batman to make Batwoman look good, which is why I stopped watching it 3 episodes in to begin with.

Same issue with Supergirl. Supergirl had to have all of Superman's characters and then they write Supergirl as a better superhero than Superman although, in the universe, Superman existed before her and supposedly inspired her but she's stronger and better.

That's why I loved seeing Brandon Routh Superman return, at least he was treated with respect as Superman.
We all know I am for representation and equality since I always speak out to it but I wish there was a way for these writers to balance out things.

If you are going to have a Supergirl or Batwoman series then why do Superman and Batman have to be slammed? What purpose does that solve? just make them be their own type of heroes. Supergirl and Batwoman are literally named after Superman and Batman.
That's why if they are going to do female shows, probably a Black Canary series? someone who wasn't created to be the female version of the men just to slam the men characters?
I think that's why I liked the Stargirl series because we haven't gotten it and I knew they weren't going to slam other characters to prop her up.
They can also create a Hawkgirl one! That'll give the diversity without making her seem like a greater hero... although I'd prefer a Hawkman & Hawkgirl series where they are on equal standings.

I agree with you, Tia. What purpose does it solve to bash Superman and Batman in the process of doing a Supergirl and Batwoman series? Answer: Once again, political correctness rears its ugly head. Since Clark and Bruce are both men(ever worse, white) they both must be deconstructed and torn down in order for women to feel they are getting equality because that's the postmodern belief.

Glad to see Barbara Gordon showed up.

Not so glad that she's an amputee.
