Yes, remember Crisis on Two Earths? That movie seemed to take place in the same continuity as Justice League: Doom. But those two movies don't seem to exist in the same continuity as the current Justice League movies.

For one, I think Tim Daly and Kevin Conroy were still voicing Superman and Batman. For another, the costumes matched the Bruce Timm-versions and not the current versions. I think those movies existed in that weird middle ear between the end of the Bruce Timm era and the start of the current DCAU.

Can I just say that I'm glad that the Bruce Timm era ended? I loved the original Batman: The Animated Series, but I hated his version of Justice League.

That's what I thought. Were they trying for a long-term continuity with those films and just decided to start over with JL: War? Seems like they never gave the first round of JL films a chance. Those were sandwiched in-between the end of the Timm-verse and the start of the current DCAU.

I figured, Tia. But it was pretty obvious to me by the way the characters looked in Crisis On Two Earths and Doom, where they had the classic outfits vs. the new movies where they were all dressed up like New 52. But I've noticed that in Apokolips War, everyone looked more like Rebirth, which is good, since Rebirth takes everything back to post-Crisis continuity.

OMG, I just came across this cover! I never new that Superman and Adam Warlock teamed up. Now Adam would give Clark a real challenge.

You're welcome. I have no idea, I searched but I can't find the year. It's gotta be the 1970s, though. So is this one. World's Finest March no. 201.

I have no idea. And why are you so sure that Superman had to win? We don't know which Earth they're fighting for, Marvel or DC.

Now I really wish I'd read that comic when I was a kid. In the 70s I only had the comics my parents got me, but in the 80s I was buying my own comics, but I wasn't buying back issues.

Yeah, I guess so.

You mean other than Superman? I only know of Martian Manhunter, Supergirl, and... that's it. I suck at DC characters.
