They are using that line to start something new don't see it without a purpose - don't see them having it and than make it pointless by not contuing from it

I'm guessing it will come to play when Snart returns, the way he is right now he'd leave with him, or at least strongly consider it, people have been talking about this on Tumblr, and I gotta agree with them, despite his bond (currently forgotten by the writers but they will probably remember it later) with Ray and potential bond with Amaya it's hard to believe he'd pick them over Snart knowing he's out there alive and he could just go back to do what they used to do, together, since a long time and he's missing him a lot, it's why he is so down.
Something has to pull him back in, since right now nobody cares/notices but Amaya I feel it's up to her to help out Mick.
