50s was a hard ship for sure and the episode did do a good job with showcasting it - related to blacks and woman/same sex

I agree.

Some things in the 50s were great but some other things were not when it comes to racism and same sex relationships, and even interracial dating. The world was definitely not as accepting as it is now which is nice to see how much the world has grown.

Happy that Ray didn't care for the 50s the longer he remained there.

His favorite thing about the 50s was probably the "immortal psychopath" casseroles.

So it should be interesting now that they are stuck in the 50s

interested to see how Raymond deals cause of how much of a ray of sunshine cause of how he seems to see the good in everything - so am interested in how he'll react to further time in the 50s - especially if its meant to be 2 years

I know... and of course I'm upset at the two years because of course it means more of the Kendra/Ray romance with them being 100x more closer.

BUT I wonder how they will handle their relationship... it's sadly not accepted in the 50s.

So no PDA or events together without getting judged.

If they are there for 2 years, I'll also find it a bit unrealistic if they don't run into Salvage again.

Vandal may have moved on after their encounter last season

with his experiences being defeated - moved onto a totally different place within the century

Maybe this 2 years might be a good thing where Kendra will determine that she doesn't match with Ray

or Ray determines that it can't work

With the writing and disrespect to Carter (and Hawks relationship) I'm going to say that this is a horrible thing.

I have no faith in the writers right now when it comes to Kendra.

Why would Vandal move on though, he never moves on.

He moves on when he successfully kills the Hawks. lol So yeah... also I wonder if any version of Carter is in this 50s.... because Vandal knows about him as well of course. Weird that he wasn't mentioned.

Just wonder if this time in the 50s is going to change Ray

maybe give him a little less of a ray of sunshine - where this time changes him to looking at things a little darker

but maybe add a little backbone to him - add a little change in him, add small amount of darkness or even better word of doubt {?} then have him fight that to becoming a ray of sunshine again

I love that he's a ray of sunshine. I love his optimism in the face of adversity. I wish I could be like him with the glass is half full attitude.

That's a nice compliment.

It's amazing that Ray is the way he is even after such an tragic accident with his fiancee in the past.

Just shows what type of great person he is.
