Interesting! Things are moving in a good direction, it seems....

About time! Let's hope so. I just hope it isn't just to get herself out of a bind though, and that she really sees the fault of what they were doing.

I loved Michael talking about what happened with Allison... also I completely agree with Michael on not getting why actors date on tv series. |

I read an article about it, but haven't seen the full podcast. Thanks for posting it! I just watched. Michael's reaction is similar to mine, and I believe the same, that she was taken advantage of and the cycle just continued of her taking advantage of others.

As much as I want to know about Allison. I don’t want to know too.
I had read what Michael had said about her. And at first I was really disappointed in what he had said. Thinking yet again it just proves how fake Hollywood is. I’m your BFF for as long as we are working together. Or what I can get out of you. But then I watched him. And reading it and hearing him speak give off 2 different interpretations. At least that’s how it comes off to me. And I liked how he tried to stay neutral in his opinions too. To many times when someone you cared about does something really wrong. They drop you. Want nothing to do with you. And try to distance themselves from the situation. But why can’t you just be they weren’t that way with me or around me. I only knew this sweet person. I really wish this hadn’t happened to her. I had such high hopes for what she could have become. I just want her to get better. |

^ I think it's better to watch the video of what Michael said over a transcript. The video was made a lot of sense.
Just because you are on set together doesn't mean you hung out all of times and are friends and as Michael mentioned, he was only really close with Tom Welling and Allison and Kristin were younger than him... so it makes since to me. Michael answered the question is openly and neutrally as he could without slamming her much at all. |

Anyone associated with Smallville has to know that from now on in any interview they will be asked about Allison. Watching Michael you could tell all he wanted to do was just give an unbiased answer and move on. The interviewer would just not let it go. He gave a good response. I’m just disappointed that they weren’t as close as I had imagined I guess.
And PS he so hilarious. And hella gorgeous. |

^ I am not sure how much more he could've said though.... Allison was being as honest as he could be and did NOT avoid the question at all. He answered the question, and spent 16 minutes talking about it!
Michael could have done a PR move and said that he is sad for what happens and hope all involved would be alright and moved on. He literally spent 16 minutes talking about Allison Mack. And I never assumed Michael and Allison were that close so that didn't hurt at all. Since Lex and Chloe never really shared many scenes, I guess they never had much time to get a bond. I know sometimes on other shows that people who don't share much scenes get close but for Allison and Michael it was different and I never really saw anything to indicate that they were really "real friends" off set. From my knowledge, Allison was closest with Kristin Kruek and of course Michael with Tom Welling... those were the 2 friendships that I was most aware of... oh and Annette and John Glover. So, I really respected the way Michael answered the question because he did seemed shocked and he didn't at all make her look worst than she already looks to a lot of people. |

I also really respect Michael for the way he handled that discussion about Allison. He was just as shocked as we were, which is why he hadn't spoken about it until now. No one has yet asked Tom about Allison. I'm not sure whether Tom will speak out unless he is asked. He did work with her more than Michael did, but then, like Michael said, you don't always hang out with the people you work with and I don't think Tom spent all that much time with her aside from filming. __________________
