If it's any consolation I still think it's fine. I never watched because I thought the show itself was great, and I still don't.
Sure ir could be better, but IMO it's no worse than last year...it's just slightly different to last year.

There's only really one reason I watch...

That must be it, because that scene with Jonathan and Clark on the porch in Meta. The background was just loverly.

When I speak of set designs I'm thinking along the lines of the actors being living props.

So in the Meta porch scene Clark's ches....ummm, I mean the background, really made the scene yumm....oops, I mean realistic...

...give me sanity.....

I think sanity ran away from you a long time ago, James.

And the actors being living props? Ooooh! You must mean Lana. I mean it has been mentioned in the past that she might be a little... wooden.

BWAH! Oops, shouldn't be mean.

So if we cut Lana in half we should be able to count sixteen age rings?

<---evil

I hear Lana may be related to a beech tree. Pretty, but very little else going for her.

btw, apologies to any Lana lovers out there in UK land. Gemma and myself offer you our deepest sympathies.

*snicker*

We very much do.

It's not that we hate Lana. We don't. We just dislike her, find the character boring, and KK's acting, sub-par.

We're really more Tommy fans. For aesthetic reasons.

Liking people for aesthetic reasons makes us sound shallow.

Ah well, I've never been fond of deep things anyway, at least not since I last tried to learn to swim and almost drowned. Eeekers!

I NEED BIG SCREEN TOMMY!!!!

Silly channel 4...*mumbles*

Well, I tried to snazz it up a little by saying 'aesthetic reasons', rather than, 'He's hot!'. Hehe.

Hiya !

I've just come from smallvillenews.com and they said that the first five episodes of Season One are showing from 21-25 October at 11am on Channel 4.

Yeah, I know, it means setting the vid and catching the ads...

Worth it, though !

Take care

Hi, I'm bringing this over from the Truthseekers thread where it was originally posted by Hope (hfce)

Live in the UK? Tired of waiting for Season 2 Of Smallville? Suffering from serious Allison Mack/Chloe Sullivan withdrawal symptoms? Then you'll be happy to know that Channel 4 will be airing all eight episodes of "Opposite Sex," featuring Allison as 'Kate' from the 23rd through to the 30th of December with the first episode airing at 3:20 am! So be sure to set your VCRs this is also the first time the short lived show has aired on UK television.

Season two of Smallville is slated to begin on Monday January 27th according to the BBC Cult website. The show will begin on E4 and is likely also be shown on Channel 4 at some point in February.
