^ It definitely wasn't, her distrust and dislike for Lex started in season 4.... and it didn't make sense only that she was following along with what Clark was doing.

The writers don't even know. lol They just made it happen because Chloe and Clark was best friends and wanted everyone to hate Lex...

Did she ever like Lex though? I thought she didn't like him or trust him because of Lionel

She never had an issue with him, she especially didn’t have an issue with him when he was protecting her from Lionel Luthor during season 3...
Without Lex Luthor’s protection, Chloe most likely would’ve been dead and Lex never got so much as a thank you...

I kinda remember her being hesitant about that deal though... You are right that she should have thanked him. Next time I watch through these episodes I'll have to pay attention to Chloe's POV. The first time I had Clark blinders on, the second time I actually started to notice Lana's POV...

I feel and it’s okay if it’s just me... but actually it’s not just me because a lot of fans had the same issue as I did... but for me my issue is that season 4-7 they had Chloe just agree with Clark and that was it. I would’ve loved in season 4 to see Chloe thank Lex for what he did to save her life while also being so divided because of Lex and Clark strain friendship. I felt that Chloe hating Lex came out of no where and was only because she knew Clark’s secret and was viewing Lex through Clark blinders.

Lionel attempted to kill Chloe at the end of season 3 and that got swiped under the rug when Lionel sort of became an ally and Chloe was suddenly civil with him...

That’s why in a way I loved the arc for Chloe in season 6 when she was trying to be a good friend to Lana and Clark and of course Clark had an issue with that and Chloe pretty much told him off....
So everyone had to hate Lex just to sell him as the future villain but it wasn’t done well for me.

^ To me she appeared to as well until all of a sudden season 4 came around and she didn't.

SO I am rewatching.. in S2 and Chloe really doesn't have much of an interaction with Lex yet at all. She only knows that Clark is friends with him and is kind of jealous of him due to the fact that she is taking away his attention from her.

^ Just jump to season 3 when they are teaming up against Lionel Luthor and then 4x02 when he reveals how he saved Chloe's and her father's life...
And even in season 2, she still didn't hate or judge him though. She was only REAL friends with Pete and Clark if we were to be honest.


Fatima, I can't remember but I'll say "Blank" episode and forward... probably.
When I get the chance, I'm going to check the old post during that time on this thread to see how the fans felt... Lex/Chloe had a lot of fans for some reason. lol

^ as I get to season 3/4 I'll keep an eye out!! Sometimes I don't pay enough attention to non-Clark centric relationships
