Even him looking at his video feed of Chloe and Clark, just to see if Clark would get hurt which of course he did since he was Mortal... luckily for him.... |

Lex was smart enough to know that Chloe would help him get in. Because Chloe earlier got his fingerprints from the caves. However, it turns out that Lex was watching the WHOLE thing once Chloe and Clark entered the facility , it was a video feed, not an audio feed so he couldn't hear anything. He just knew that once Clark entered to get the serum he burned his arm, and that's when Lex said under his breath, "This is impossible." Showing that Lex knows something is off with Clark and he believes Clark is superhuman, he is just going at it the wrong way to get proof... even if it puts Clark's family and friends in danger which is what Lex sort of did. Lex should've been smart enough to know that Chloe can track his feed, that's what he didn't count on. |
