I agree! If I'd been Lois, I would've been extremely ticked off that my cousin slept with my ex-boyfriend. Doesn't Chloe know the unspoken rule between girlfriends, "Don't sleep with my leftovers?" Man. lol.

I agree. I don't ship Lollie, but Oliver and Lois do have more in common than Oliver and Chloe. Almost too much, which is why IMO they're better off as best friends. But Tess and Oliver really have unique things in common, both of them are to understand the harder choices in life and do things that might seem bad for the greater good. They both are capable of understanding the necessity of that.

They compliment each other beautifully too. He lightens her up and makes her laugh, and she inspires him to be as heroic as she knows he can be.

I think in this case though, it's a whole different thing. It's not like Chloe/Oliver dated in Season 6, right after Oliver/Lois broke up. Many things happened to lead to that place and Chloe/Oliver had their off screen bond (which showed on screen in Siren) going on as well since she knew he was Green Arrow when Lois of course didn't.

Like how would Chloe have known Lois would eventually END UP with her first crush and love Clark Kent?
When you see it from both perspectives. Both Chloe and Lois ended up with the former boyfriends.
I think Oliver is the first person who Lois truly loved with everything, and Chloe ended up with him.
Clark is the first person Chloe truly loved and pinned on since she was a teenager, it took her seasons to get over him. It probably really took her all the way until late season 7 to really move on and Lois ended up with him....

So, I would agree with the leftover comment if it happened in a short period but so many things happened by the time we reached Season 9, Oliver was in the darkest place he's ever been and Chloe saved him by putting him through the trails for he can find himself again....... Lois of course was deeply in love with Clark at that time.
I think what Chloe/Oliver suffered from is their romance getting build off screen for the most part.

Now on to Tess and Oliver, I love the bond they had and how Oliver called her, "Mercy". It's too bad that never really continued because I loved it in the beginning. When I look back on it, you can feel the chemistry and connection they have and I think I loved them most in Season 10 because it's when I finally first started to appreciate them.

What I found very sad is how they both loved each other at probably bad timing? Oliver and Tess once dated and I think Oliver cheated on her. And I think Oliver said he wasn't ready for that type of relationship with her. And than eventually Tess loved him and Oliver was in love with someone else.

So it's like the stars never really aligned at the right time for them although I feel Season 10 would've been the perfect time to build their romance again if it was going to happen.

I love that he calls her ‘Mercy’ instead of just the generic “baby” as well. I also love that she never calls him “Ollie”, always “Oliver” for the strong man she knows he is. And I love that they showed her license plate as 'No Mercy', showing that she worked hard to change herself as CEO of Luthorcorp, to strength and harden herself for survival. She had obviously been a very warm and loving woman, showing Oliver love and 'mercy'.

I think it speaks volumes that Tess can have an absolute temper tantrum with Oliver because she knows she can't get away with the same "robot bitch" attitude that she puts on for the rest of the world. She's not afraid to step outside of her stoic persona and throw knives and vases at him. It's so much fun to watch! We got to see so much of her personality when she was with Oliver. I LOVE how gentle Oliver is whenever he touches her. It's so romantic!

I think Tess feels safe with him - although she'd never want to admit it.

I'm not sure why Season 10 didn't give them more of a true shot, it wasn't very realistic or in character to me but neither was quite bit of SV's writing. I love the moments and looks we did get of them in S10, though.

I loved the way they looked at each other in this scene. You don't need the words, their expressions say it all. ❤️

I agree about Oliver calling Tess 'Mercy', I always really liked that.
