Thank you! :hug: Days like today of no major meltdowns and room redecorations make my work all worth it. :love: I truly love these kiddos. I see behavior as communication and those kiddos are really the ones that need the most attention/love. I know many of them can't help it, especially when parents forget to give their kiddo their prescribed medicine in the morning because they are running late. You see? It is not the kid's fault. And that really affects them and all of us. It's sad that some parents are not all that responsible sometimes. If they are running late, bring the medicine to our school nurse and we will handle it. There isn't an excuse for that. :sigh:

And shockingly, of all days, I took a nap right after work and dinner today. :lol: I guess the previous days exhausted me and it just built up. This will be a rough night for me to fall asleep though. :lmao:

I didn't have a hard time falling asleep. :lol: I took a Melatonin just in case, so that helped. Though last time I took a nap, I was still laying awake in bed at 1 AM with taking a Melatonin. :P You know it has been a rough week. :lmao: The upcoming evaluation by my assistant principal also has me a little nervous, but she gave me some confidence yesterday when she complimented me during her unannounced walkthrough. :)

I have so many stories and I often laugh and take things lightly because we will all go insane if we don't laugh it off. :goof: I'm happy for my positivity, because I don't see how anyone can make it in this profession without optimism. Seriously. This is definitely not usual, because I've student taught at various other elementary schools (not in my current district, but more established districts). But also it was a lot less interesting. And a lot less rewarding, to be honest. Tough days make me stronger and more motivated to keep going because I always feel like I can make a big difference because there is such a big need. Does that make sense? :look:

It's the weekend and a long weekend. 3 days off for us, and 4 days off for our kiddos!

My parents and sister are coming today!!

Tuesday is just staff development for us, so next week will just be 3 days of school for the kiddos. It's for Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

Yes, and if not quiet, the kiddos will at least just be in school for 3 days. :lol:

I didn't know it was possible to appoint someone to more than 5 boards. :lol: I also wonder if I am the first person to have 6 boards under my name (besides Chelle; I believe she has had 6 boards at one time but one of them is Graphics Team so it doesn't really count). ;)

That's why they have an opening currently. :) It's a busy time! Nah, not overwhelming really. I just need to divide my time to yet another board now. :lol:

I am doing the same. This is my second round for the day because I have the time. :yay: Tomorrow and going forward this week, I'm not sure if I'd be able to make even one full round daily on any of my boards. University classes return tomorrow and I have work. I promise to make it up Friday evening and over the weekend. :hug: We should be alright here as we do the live watches and generally I am alright on my other boards too because we have regular posters. :love:
