You didn't ask me, but it's definitely the DC version by Neil Gaiman & it will be set well into the future unlike the comics were.

Yeah, the artwork in the panels could have been better -although Dave McKean’s artwork for The Sandman covers is highly recognized (and for good reason, imo).

Dave, it seems that Vertigo was shut down earlier this year, but you can take a look at some of their comics here: DC Vertigo I’m sure you will recognize some familiar titles.

It's "Vertigo" spelled like the Alfred Hitchcock film is. Vertigo like Wildstorm were imprints of DC Comics. Vertigo's comics were for "suggested for mature readers". They certainly were not made for young children as they included things such as profanity that would generally be found in Rated "R" movies. TV shows & movies that have been made based on them include: "Preacher", "Doom Patrol", "Constantine", "V For Vendetta", & "i, Zombie".

thanks Matt... did you watch WWE summer slam or no? if not...you missed a good Orton/ Drew match...I was rooting for Orton even though the "kick the "head while the persons down" is distasteful entertainment... I know it's a stunt and the person manages to lift his head and Orton barely raises his foot to do it...but Cpeedy/ CeCe knows I have a weak stomach
