"The 100" is 1 that I haven't caught. What a rainy day. Geez. I didn't watch many Horror flicks growing up. I knew of "Freddy Kreuger" though. Certainly any films in the "Halloween" or "Friday the 13th" franchises I didn't watch until a teen. There are I think solid Horror movies appropriate for children to watch, such as "Poltergeist". "Vacancy" from over 10 years ago starring Luke Wilson & Kate Beckinsale I thought was solid. Of course "House of 9" is 1 of faves. "Exorcist" is terrific. The "Child's Play" films that I've seem were OK. The late Boris Karloff was in some classic Horror films, such as "Frankenstein" & "The Mummy". "Hellraiser" was solid. "Scream" was pretty good, along with "The Others". "Prodigy" was 1 where if you don't mind seeing perhaps a child act demonic, then go for it.

Scream was a good one. Poltergeist is too much for me to handle even though it's PG (or is it rated R?).
Maybe I’m overreacting but allowing a child to play a demon-possessed character borders on psychological child abuse in my book. It’s too creepy to be considered just a job. Some of you may not believe that stuff is real, but I do (experiences). That's why I don't mess around with it. __________________

The first "Poltergeist" film is Rated "PG". "Poltergeist" II & III are Rated "PG-13".
