Main thing to know about Cat Grant in the comics and universes is that she always wants to be with Clark who never notices her because of Lois and of course the Cat/Lois rivalry.

So, even if Cat Grant is written different... those 2 things or 1 (of the 2) will always be that way. lol

Yes Supergirl was the first time I had seen Cat Grant its nice that the show had both of her key points - being Clark Obsessed and rivalry with Lois

Dean Cain expression is the best. He knows he can stop these bullets but you know Lois is there and he has a secret to hide so no need at trying to play hero. lolol

Yup, you can decide though. I think the first episode we should watch stand alone though. It's the longest episode of the series.
I just wanted to rewatch it again when I heard about Teri coming to Supergirl. And it'd be awesome if you at least watched one.
