Well myself and Cece didn't post much. lol I didn't really post on any of my boards much but I made a good posting round yesterday.

You aren't going to do a 3rd re-watch of the show right?

So the first time around I watched on my phone and multi-tasked (although I kind of checked out of life for a couple of days..)........Then I was watching at night with my husband from S1...and I saw for the first time on the big 50" screen with no distractions(except folding laundry).... at the same time I have been continually watching the show on my phone whilst multi-tasking and for the rewatches I'm much more attention to life then the show it's more turned into background music as I'm not actually watching it most the time..(while I clean/cook/ sometimes while I play with kids/always when putting toddler down to nap...and I fall asleep to it..sometimes I'm propping it up on the counter so I can see as I clean kitchen/cook) I know I know I know I'm nuts. I also watched all of gamers reactions... some multiple times and watch fan vids. I am way past obsessed.

The show pulled me out of the darkness that was starting to consume me and send me into a depression. It made me feel normal for the first time in months...so I'm holding onto it as I continue to try and get through these turbulent times. There are much worse things to use to cope..and I am totally re-engaged with life again.. so its not having any negative affects. I do also go on a hike or bike with the kids almost every day..so getting outside etc.

I'm hoping maybe I can get my sister to watch it with me at night remotely.

Sorry you were dealing with depression in the first place.

But I am so happy to have you here, for however much longer or whatever. It's just great seeing you discuss and talk about as much as you need to. You have a lot of thoughts about a lot of storylines which is great.

Your love for the show is to great to watch especially when I hear how many people you want to get involved in your experience.

Omgosh feel horrible. I went to California for the past 4 days to visit a close friend and forgot to mention it to Tia. Or on the mod board. Omgosh can't believe I forgot about this forum entirely. Work has just been crazy and just slipped my mind. So sorry all!

Yes this crazy world we now live in..I had to escape it. It was calming to see people acting normal (human) seeing peoples faces and not running around in fear being close together...etc. in a fictional world that I was captivated by. What was hurting the most was choosing between sheltering my son from the madness or throwing him into it with school (masking, social distancing). Also the feeling of having no control over the situation and just outnumbered and the fear of the impending future economic collapse. Even going on a hike everyone that I pass by in conversations we are all so consumed by this "crisis" that is affecting almost every part of our lives.... its too much. I'm also a planner and I like to look forward to future events... all of which is impossible. So it really has thrown me out of balance. Once my son went back to school and my husband went back to work we had some kind of normalcy around here and it calmed me.

Smallville brings me a lot of happiness and escape.. that its helping to keep me more centered and keeps me from falling into the pit of despair and rabbit hole of social media.

If I can get my sister to watch it with me (remotely she is in college) I will definitely let you guys know. If I had to guess she won't be a Clana forever fan lol.
