Vast is awesome. I discovered him through Angel and the song "Touched" and it was instant love. I saw him live once and he was amazing!
Like Buffy before it, Smallville definitely had some influence on my music collection...  Some of my favorite songs I remember on the show: * Dishwalla - "Angels or Devils" (Ryan and Clark in the hot air balloon) * The Calling - "Unstoppable" (Lex driving before he hits Clark in the pilot) * Rise Against - "Roadside" (Lex giving Clark the Lexana wedding invitation) * Interpol - "Pioneer to the Falls" (When Lex has Grant killed) * Matthew Good - "Weapon" (Clana barn scene before Lex & Helen's wedding, I think) * SR-71 - "Tomorrow" (The end of Insurgence when Lex is watching the Kents walk away happily holding on to each other) * John Mayer - "No Such Thing" (When Clark asks Chloe to the Spring Formal) * Remy Zero - "Perfect Memory" (Chlark dance at the Spring formal, also used when Lana convinces Lex to save the Talon) * Stabbing Westward - "What Do I Have To Do" (Lionel announces the Smallville plant is closing) __________________

 I'm listing to "Angels or Devils" as I'm typing this because when I saw your list I remembered how much I loved that song back then.__________________

That one is in my top three, it might even be my favorite song used on Smallville. A lot remember "Collide" by Dishwalla on the show (when Lana sees that Clark was alive in Hidden), but I adored "Angels or Devils" the most. It fit so perfectly with that episode and that ending scene with Ryan.

In the early seasons they featured so many brilliant songs and I kind of missed that later on but on the other hand their original scores became a lot better around season 8-10.

Only 1 episode in and completely remembering how much the music was fantastic
 loved the song at the end of the pilot and remember that I LOVE the theme songTru Calling "Wherever you go" Use to love them back in the day Confused the bands but did Lighthouse too__________________
