no i think Lois thought the story was a hack story so she thought Clark was above it...to her only a hack reporter would get involved with it

*Nora*, I completely agree with your analysis of the Clois scenes. I wasn't thrilled with the way she was talking about Clark in front of Sebastian either, so I'm really glad that they showed that she was just trying to protect him. Also I love the gif. Thanks for bringing it over.

PTB are really making this an amazing season for Smallville, in more ways than one. The episode in general was great for all the characters, again they're being developed into what there "true" characters are. Jimmy was established in the sense that he would never tell anyone because Clark would always be the old CK to him. Clark is starting to realize maybe it wouldn't be so bad to have a secret identity, and Lois going undercover.

Overall the episode was one of the better ones this season, sad not to see Davis this week though. Although it looked as though Clark was "almost ready" I think in some realization is that he isn't, he needs to want to be a hero, and I don't think he's quite there yet. Soon, just not yet.

I'm glad Oliver did decide to help Clark, I mean it's only fair. I'm also glad he's going back to being the Green Arrow. We need to see more of him!

The Clark/Lois scenes killed me, as it did to almost all the Clois fans I know. The zipper scene. *faints* "Sometimes when a guy likes a girl he asks her out." Subtle much Lois? But then she has to be that way to Clark sometimes LOL. The flashback scene with Lois smiling, such a great scene and really tied up the earlier scene IMO. But my favorite scene and the one I was hoping for while I was watching it was the fact that Lois called Clark FIRST. It shows that she understand that he can help her. And she's not afraid of that anymore.

That end scene with Chloe. OMG! This season is going to be an interesting season for her. She's got some 'splaning to do.
