Just one clarification, if you guys don't mind. Only official promos and official synopsis's from CW that depict episodes that have not yet aired are allowed on this board, but behind spoiler tags. Is that right?

If I am correct to assume,

- A youtube commercial that aired after the previous episode on tv is only allowed on this board if it is behind spoiler tags
- A promotional image provided by CW.com is allowed on this board, behind spoiler tags
- A paragraph summarizing an episode that leaked somewhere on the net is not allowed on this board at all, not even in spoiler tags.
- An avatar can not be used that depicts an unaired episode, even if it is an official promo picture released by CW network

I just wanted to clarify because I am a weirdo and am allergic to being spoiled except for official promos. Just want to make sure I am not surprised when I highlight spoiler tags

Well I'm technically not a mod anymore

, but this is how we usually did the whole spoilers thing:
- trailers that aired after the episode are not spoilers. Anything that aired on TV is fair game.
Some posters discuss them in spoiler tags, but that's more common courtesy than a rule.
- anything else from the CW site (Director's Cut, clips,...) is not allowed. Same goes for all the others clips that might show up on other sites (Yahoo, ...). That all belongs to the Spoilers Thread.
- episode descriptions/summaries were not allowed (because the lovely CW likes to give too much away

), and they are posted only on episode discussion thread once that thread is started.
- promo pictures are not allowed to be used in icons at all on

if I'm not mistaken. Well, spoilery ones. Not sure what's the story with close ups and similar ones that don't give away much about the plot. Alex?

- as for promo images and episode descriptions/summaries in practice on this board, it's OK to mention them/link to them. "Hey guys, you might like to check this out." / "I can't wait for that episode." But everything spoilery was always discussed on Spoilers Thread.

I'd also like to mention that official news about someone coming back to the show (like it was with Justin/Ollie and James/Brainiac in season 7) wasn't considered spoilers after CW/AlMiles/or the actor confirmed it. I think we only managed to keep Pete coming back under wraps until the promo aired, even though that was also in the newspapers by then.

Did I miss something?
