I was slightly amused and annoyed that Lana turned Bizarro into a lovestruck puppy dog. But, I did like the irony that Lana choosing Clark... was taking the love out of the relationship.

Lex has made yet another move of crossing to the dark side. I have to admit, that was pretty damn malicious.

It was cool to see Braniac again... although, I felt the episode didn't give him much to work with.

Ken, I agree...James was great as Brainiac, but they didn't give him a whole lot to work with. Although his scenes and manipulations were deliciously evil and self serving. One gripe I had about his storyline, was at the end end, did he kill Dax-Ul or what? They never quite explained it or showed anything to help us make a decision.

I've read some reviews that say the scene at the end was not necessary and didn't fit the episode, with Lex going out and screaming in the rain, but to me it payed tribute to an earlier moment in SV history from Memoria, when Lex was having the nightmares and was found by Lana screaming in the rain the name 'Julian'. To me that was the most touching moment of the show.

The issue of the bizzaro/lana relationship was also under heavy scruitany in some online reviews, concerning was it technically "rape" that he had sex with lana or not. (We all assume they did since they slept together for a month in the same bed)

Really? A lot of things happened, you must be a Lois, Kara or Jimmy fan to not find anything interesting. To me, the episode as a whole had a lot of potential, some of the writting was a bit lazy and left some things to the imagination, but overall, a decent to good episode for S7 part II. Let's see what they do with 'Siren', they've gone the extra mile to make it a memorable episode, lots of guest stars, new character, etc. Who knows, it could be this season's version of "Justice".

It's hard to side on Lana in her defense. Honestly, over the past few seasons she has become such a caricature... it's hard to take her seriously. But, yes... I see your point wih being "raped" emotionally... but, shouldn't she have been aware that it wasn't the man she "loved" ... some part of her should have realized that. Don't ya think?

Aside from that, I had a feeling they would continue to bring Lex to the darkside, and this week's episode did that. And good call on the "Memoria" homage... I caught that, too.

Come on, the whole rape thing is taking it way over the top.
He lied to get her in bed. It doesn't need an evil alien clone, there's plenty of that going around in RL.

If someone can be fooled so easily and not realize that the person they were intimate before has been replaced, you have to ask yourself if the intimacy they shared was really there in the first place.
Not only did she not figure it out, she didn't even suspect anything, and didn't want to listen to Chloe when she was telling her something was wrong.

I'll say it again. She should stop dating and spend some time alone. She needs to sort herself out first.
She is clingy and just goes from one boyfriend to another. And she knows how to pick them. They all lied. Clark (by not telling her the truth). Jason. Lex. Bizzaro.
It's a pattern with her, not an isolated case.
